Chia is the seeds of Spanish sage, one of the oldest cultivated plants. It was valued by the Incas and Aztecs, and the Indians called it "runners' food" or "miracle seed". Chia seeds are widely appreciated for their unique properties.
They are characterized by ahigh fiber content and a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, polyunsaturated fats and unsaturated fats. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps in maintaining proper cholesterol levels in the blood. Oleic acid is an unsaturated fat. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) from the omega-3 family helps maintain proper cholesterol levels in the blood. This beneficial effect occurs with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA.
Chia seeds are a natural source of valuable protein, they are recommended for vegetarians, physically active people and bodybuilders. They are naturally low in sugar and naturally salt-free.
They are characterized by a high content of minerals: calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and phosphorus. Phosphorus contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism*.

How to use
The consumption of chia seeds should be no more than 15 g (3 teaspoons) per day. Chia seeds can be eaten directly whole, ground into powder or in the form of pudding (after soaking in water, milk, plant drinks in the proportion: 1 tablespoon of seeds per 4‑6 teaspoons of liquid). They can be used as an addition to bread and cakes, soups, stews, bigos, vegetable dishes, salads, breakfast products (porridge, muesli, granola) and dairy products (yogurt, kefir), fruit cocktails (based on milk or plant drinks).
Contraindications
It is not recommended for use by people allergic to any of the product's ingredients. A dietary supplement cannot be a substitute for a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
